I could not believe it when I read Manju's message... Such senseless loss!
I just met Olololu in Cape Town, walking on Table Mountain with him and Manju as the photo album shows.
When I took the photo of him on Table Mountain in the sunset, he was excited to show his family how beautiful it was up there. A perfect day, after an amazing conference filled with hope. We must all carry his spirit forward.

I met Omololu in 1998 in Geneva at a workshop I conducted as part of the review process of my book on Media Handbook on HIV Vaccine for Africa. He was already an expert then. All Africans who attended the last UNGASS saw Omololu at his best...leading, advocating, pushing the cause of Africa. We had bigger plans to push his work and selfless agenda forward. But now, he is dead...murdered by mindless social vampires. .
